Case Study

Every won deal becomes a Shopify order, and reps take phone orders inside HubSpot

Postal Packaging, a UK packaging and envelopes business, turned HubSpot deals into Shopify orders through a Zapier flow that often failed. We replaced it with an order pipeline that turns every won deal into a correct Shopify order. We also built a card that lets reps take a small phone order without leaving HubSpot.

The situation

Postal Packaging sells envelopes and packaging online and to trade customers, including printed and custom orders. The sales team works in HubSpot, and orders are processed in Shopify. So every sale made in HubSpot has to become a correct Shopify order.

  • The Zapier flow that turned won deals into Shopify orders failed on 15 to 20% of them
  • Trade customers have their own prices, and large orders need precise unit prices
  • For a small phone order, reps went through the full deal process or switched to Shopify to enter it
  • Shipping and billing addresses were typed into each deal by hand

5
Ongoing support
HubSpot fixes and new requests from one shared backlog with the client’s team. Since May 2026.

What we built.

  • Won deals to Shopify orders

When a trade or print deal is won, an automation creates a Shopify draft order with the products, prices, shipping and addresses from the deal.

  • Prices that match the deal

Trade prices, discounts and shipping carry over from the deal, so the Shopify order matches what the customer agreed.

  • Quick Order card

A card on the contact record in 6 steps: find the product by SKU, choose the options and quantity, apply volume discounts and discount codes, pick a saved address and send. Shopify creates a draft order and emails the customer a payment link.

  • Saved addresses on deals

A card on the deal lists the customer’s saved Shopify addresses. The one the rep picks fills the deal’s shipping and billing fields.

  • Built for the full catalogue

The order pipeline handles more than 3,000 SKUs, in several currencies and languages.

  • Ongoing HubSpot support

Workflows, fixes and new requests, worked from one shared backlog with the client’s team.

The review

“Deeps Solutions’ communication and work ethic stood out.”
July 21, 2026
“Order automation success rate went from roughly 80–85% on the legacy setup to effectively 100%. Phone orders that previously meant switching between HubSpot and Shopify are now handled in a single 6-step card inside the CRM. Reps save 5-10 minutes on each quick order being created.”
